Weather and other situations developed today thus no lake swim today.  Actually I miss the lake swim.  I felt that I had to do something today so back to the pool I went.  I swam a total of 3100 yards and felt good.  The workout consisted of 1500 swim (500 warmup, 500 fartlek alternating hard/east 25's, 500 fartlek 25 hard/25 easy/50 hard/50 easy/75 hard/75 easy/100 hard/100 easy).  Then I stopped and put on the flippers and did another 500 fartlek -(25H/25E, 50H, 50E, 75H, 75E, 100H, 100E) in time of -6:17.  Rested for a minute and did 1000 swim ( easy 250, followed by 250 (hard/easy at 25's) followed by 500 (25H/25E,50H,50E,75H,75E,100H,100E) in a time of 12:44.  Both of these swims were my fastest so far this year.  The lake swims must be making me stronger.  I ended my swim with 100 easy.
